Welcome to the cyber-home of The Olde Caravan. Please pardon our dust, for we are constantly under construction!
UPDATE! 5/10/12
We had a great time in Buck's Eye Hollow, and made some new friends! All and all, a good start to the season.
4/19/12
We're easing our way back into performance again, and we're starting with an old favorite: OSU's Medieval & Renaissance Faire! Come see us on the South Oval, Saturday May 5th.

As I announced in April, The Olde Caravan was on hiatus for the 2011 season to allow time for a personal life event taking place this fall. Well, as of two weeks ago, the preperations culminated in a lovely private wedding ceremony.
Now that we're settling into married life, I'm taking the opportunity to go back over my plans for the future of the Caravan. I'll be looking into new venues of performance as well as exploring ways to branch out.
Look forward to hearing from us again this spring!

The Olde Caravan is an up-and-coming performance group that brings a new way of thinking to Renaissance and medieval faire performance. Our cast includes many talented, passionate actors specially trained in the type of interactive improvisation that performing at faires requires, as well as a diverse amalgamation of specialized performance.
The Olde Caravan provides interactive performance in the format of a traveling caravan. Each performer has a fully-fleshed period persona, and we have spent a great deal of time cultivating a feeling of community, as any tight-knit family or traveling unit of the period would have had. Our characters can be dropped into any medieval or Renaissance village and help bring it to life. We are more than happy to interact with your cast to aid in creating a lived-in atmosphere for your faire.
